The massage environment itself is private, calm, and serene with soft music and low lighting. Once settled in, strong hands move purposefully through a series; first on one side of the body, and then on the opposite. Movement from one area to the next seems seamless and fluid. After a few minutes one simply melts into the whole experience. Long, gliding strokes alleviate stiffness and fatigue while more firm and targeted strokes ease muscle aches. Pressure alternates between gentle and firm. Eventually, distinctive scents are introduced. These expert techniques transcend routine massage and allow me to fall into a deep meditative state. Afterwards I feel extraordinary. I have improved mobility and my range of motion is increased.
